FBI New York Citizens Academy Alumni Association

Mission

The New York Chapter of the FBI National Citizens Academy Alumni Association (FBINYNCAAA) is one of nearly 60 similar chapters across the United States dedicated to making our neighborhoods safer by promoting public safety and security. We actively engage the community through education and service initiatives through outreach programs. Our members volunteer their time and effort to foster a greater understanding of the role of federal law enforcement issues, priorities, and goals.

In concert with the FBI and other law enforcement agencies we help communities by:

      • Providing public education programs to raise awareness of community safety issues such as cyber crime, violent extremism, drugs, terrorism, gang activity, public corrupation and other criminal activities.
      • Equipping citizens with information, tools and resources to address public safety issues such as opioid addiction, hate crimes, online scams, human trafficking, and active shooter situations.
      • Hosting events and discussions that facilitate collaborative relationships among federal, state, and local law enforcement, and promote positive community and law enforcement relationships.
      • Sponsoring community service initiatives to help at risk populations through food drives, clothing donations, childhood reading programs, senior meals, and school supplies.
      • Supporting FBI sponsored outreach and information programs to community citizens, businesses, religious organizations, and government agencies.
